Basic Structure of Freight Elevators
Freight elevators use a motor to rotate steel wire ropes in both directions, driving the cargo car up and down along guide rails to achieve vertical transport of goods. A freight elevator mainly consists of a motor, brake, reducer, control cabinet, car, guide rails, buffers, limit switches, landing doors, floor indicator lights, call buttons, and control panel. The machine room includes the motor, brake, reducer, and control cabinet. The car is used to load goods and moves up and down along the guide rails using steel cables. The hoistway includes guide rails, buffers, and limit switches. The landing section includes landing doors, floor indicator lights, call buttons, and control panel.
Freight Elevator Safety Management Regulations
When opening and closing the doors, do so gently to avoid the door ropes coming out of the groove or damaging the door safety switch. When loading goods, place them in the middle of the car, at least 5 cm from the edge, to prevent them from jamming the car. After removing goods, immediately close the landing doors until the door open light or occupancy light on the call panel goes out. Do not activate the emergency stop switch if the elevator malfunctions or is not stuck. The elevator can only be used normally when all landing doors are closed. Short-circuiting the hall door safety switch is prohibited to prevent the hall door from being left open while the elevator is running. Overloading is strictly prohibited; the weight of goods must not exceed the load capacity specified on the call panel. In case of elevator malfunction, maintenance personnel should be notified immediately for repair; repairs must not be carried out without supervision or by unauthorized personnel.
